Nasir and Mala Charitable TrustWomen’s Empowerment
Nasir and Mala Charitable Trust has started a three-month tailoring course for women to promote skill development and self-reliance. This initiative provides practical training in stitching, cutting, and designing garments. It aims to empower women by enhancing their earning opportunities and encouraging small business initiatives. Experienced trainers guide participants, ensuring quality learning. The trust hopes this initiative will improve livelihoods and support community development for many local families in need.
Police Smriti Diwas 21/10/2023
On the Occasion of Police Smriti Diwas We invited Mr Shrimant Shinde senior and his team from Nirmal Nagar Police Station Khar East and we felicitated him with a shawl and a bouquet with his team. Mr. Shrimant Shinde also distributed stationery and snacks to our students.
Our New Class
We have started our New branch at Indra Nagar in Pipeline near Bandra Terminus. Bandra East Mumbai 400051 Maharashtra. This is a slum area where there are underprivileged children we are providing Free Education. At least we have 78 more than above students who are coming to our class.
Medical Help
We also help the people for cataract (motiya bind) operations through our trust. So lots of people contact us for cataract operation.
Blanket Distribution
We celebrate Republic Day on 26th January every year through a cultural program organized by Nasir and Mala Charitable Trust members. Republic Day is a day to remember the pride of the Indian constitution . To celebrate this Republic Day, with the help of some children and villagers we organize some inspirational plays and events. On this day we also distribute sweets and food to underprivileged children at the end of the cultural function.
Blood Donation Camp
The purpose of our blood donation camp is to supply an adequate quantity of blood to save the lives of many due to an increasing need for blood donors with the growing population and advancements in the medical field. Since blood cannot be manufactured in a factory, we are all aware of its value. The human body is the only source. Many people with chronic illnesses and accident victims require blood. We tend to spread awareness about how important it is to donate safe blood and how it helps save lives in emergencies.
Our members set up blood donation camps and ensure that all the protocols are being followed by the donors. Later on, specific staffs come to pick up the collected blood for their hospitals. We also have some refreshments set up on our campgrounds. These blood samples are sent to several government hospitals where blood is scarce for the underprivileged.
Free Education
Education must be universally accessible irrespective of an individual’s religion, caste, creed, color, disability, and financial status. No one in this entire world has the right to destroy someone’s desire to learn because we all are intertwined with each other’s barriers and possibilities. Our individuality and possessions are meaningless without mother nature.
We initiated our educational services by providing free-of-cost informative classes to almost 150 to 200 students under the guidance of our known professional teachers and later on we slowly extended the project recently in the month of June by renting a spacious room in Bharat Nagar, Bandra East, Mumbai, Maharashtra, that is transformed into a school from Junior sections to 10th standard.
The execution of this project has reached uncountable needy families and encouraged them to fulfill their long-lost dreams.We want to thank all the teachers who came forward to help these shining stars and guide them on a way out of their darkness.
- Essay Writing Competition
The mightiest weapon of all is a pen that has the strength to silence disastrous storms as well as bring a tsunami of changes, and it depends on the thoughts we inculcate inside our minds. We wish to transform the current scenarios, so an essay writing competition is our way to showcase the potential each child holds, and the possibilities of a better future. Lastly, we honor the youngest victor and publish his/her essay in our local magazine.
- Drawing Competition
We conduct drawing competitions occasionally for underprivileged children in order to explore their uniqueness and appreciate the hidden treasures they carry inside their wondering minds. Special prizes are distributed to the winners at the end of the program and certificates of participation for the rest of our participants.
- Cultural Events
Art is a way to exhale all that is in our hearts, the repressed thoughts we failed to convey, or when we refused to cry and show that we are in pain. We encourage our children to perform whatever they feel the happiest about like singing, dancing, acting, and so on.
At the end of their performance, we treat them with special snacks and prizes.
Food Distribution
When we thought to initiate this journey, our ultimate aim was to selflessly serve, uplift, and improve people’s lives, especially the underprivileged sections of our country. Often we’ve seen uncountable innocents starving to death and there’s hardly anyone to look after their needs. We find it extremely important from our sides to at least feed as many destitute as we can.
To successfully execute the operation, we distribute nutritious food to needy people lying barely without any hope of survival. With each morsel of food, they find the light to touch again and get rid of their darkness filled with misery and outcries.
Health Camp
The backward and underprivileged sections of our country mostly can’t afford good medical care and so we offer them free health checkups once or twice a month. As citizens of this country and most importantly as human beings we must never ignore a sick person trying to seek medical help, the greatest purpose of a man’s life is to serve others and seek solace in their happiness. We invite doctors from reputed hospitals to take part in our campaign. For remote villages, we offer food supplies to get their presence and ensure that we provide the best medical attention. In cases of emergency, we take complete responsibility for the patient including medicines and other expenses.
Importance of Tree Plantation and Environment
We are well aware of the climatic changes happening worldwide. It is devastating to witness the harsh consequences everyone is facing, including serious health deterioration and ruthless natural disasters. Growing concerns have evaluated that one of the common factors of this harmful change is deforestation.
To combat the extending irresponsibilities in an overpopulated country like India, we have begun our operative measures to reduce deforestation and focus on planting myriads of trees with the motive to protect future generations. We planted hundreds of trees with the aim of creating a safe and sound environment.
On every occasion, we distribute saplings to our members as well as the poor people we are working for and simultaneously spread awareness to educate them about the importance of afforestation.
The results are positive as we’ve seen more people encourage each other but somewhere in our hearts, we know that this is just the beginning and we’ve to cross another thousand miles to reach our final destination.
Computer Education
The world is changing and advancing itself in the blink of an eye and so to equally compete with them we need to enlighten ourselves as much as we can. Technological advancement has touched the skies in so many countries, we need to buckle up and to do so we took the initiative to launch our own Practical Computer Education for those who can’t access the advantages even if they want to. So far we’ve trained a couple of students and some of them have already made a career as teachers, instructors, and even tech experts.
Ration Distribution
Our Trust from the beginning only wanted to distribute dry Ration Kits to the underprivileged family of the slums. So we took an initiative step by taking help from our donors and then we distributed Ration Kits to our students parents.
Beach Clean – Up Drive On Ganpati Visarjan ( Juhu Beach ) 18/09/2024
On 18/09/2024 Our NGO Nasir & Mala Charitable Trust team went to Juhu Beach at 5 AM in the Morning for Beach Clean-up Drive. Our team dispersed in groups in different locations at Juhu Beach and started to collect the debris of immersed idols at the beach collected at one place. We were appreciated by the local residents of that area.
